The Centre was awarded with “3rd computer literacy Excellence Awards for School – 2004” by His Excellency Dr. Abdulkalam on 7th December 2005 at New Delhi.

Information Technology is the backbone of all progress in the new age. Committed to putting the nations IT initiatives on fast forward mode, the Ministry of Communications & Information Technology is glad to recognize and reward outstanding efforts in computer education at school level. From the last three years they give Computer Literacy Excellence Award for schools at National as well as State level.  C.N. Vidyavihar has been selected for the State Award under 3rd Computer Literacy Excellence Award for Schools-2004 The award is consisting of a trophy along with a cash prize of Rs. 1.5 lakhs. Hon’ble President of India Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam gives this award on 7th Dec. 2005 at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.
